Fairview Software Inc. ("we", "us", "Fairview Sites") operates a website builder for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to hello@fairviewsites.com.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to generate and host your website:
- Business intake details: business name, industry, city, services, hours, and other content you enter so we can generate your website.
- Account information: your email address (used to sign you in) and, when you sign in with Google, the basic profile your provider shares.
- Lead submissions: when a visitor fills out a form on your website, the platform stores their submission so you can read it from your dashboard.
- Billing information: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive a customer ID, subscription status, and the last four digits / brand of your default card.
- Operational logs: Cloudflare records request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and uptime. Logs are retained for a limited period in line with Cloudflare's defaults.
How we use it
- To generate your website and continue to host it.
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To send you transactional email about account access, billing, and lead notifications. Marketing email requires your consent.
- To diagnose problems and improve the service.
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Service providers we share data with
We share information only with the providers we use to run the service:
- Cloudflare: hosting, databases, and edge delivery.
- Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
- Firebase (Google): account login provider.
- Anthropic: the AI model that generates your website copy from your intake details. Intake content is sent to Anthropic at generation time. It is not used to train their models when sent through the API channel we use.
Your choices
- You can edit or remove the content on your website at any time from your dashboard.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your site is taken offline at the end of the current billing period.
- You can request deletion of your account and stored data by emailing us at hello@fairviewsites.com.
- You can opt out of marketing email through the unsubscribe link in any marketing message we send.
Data retention
We retain your account information and site content for as long as your account is active. After cancellation we retain the data for a reasonable window in case you reactivate, then delete it. Lead submissions remain available to you until you delete them or close your account.
Security
Connections to our service are encrypted in transit (TLS). Customer data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We use established security practices to protect against unauthorized access, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Fairview Sites is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to active account holders. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
